Engineering Solver, Inc. is a Southern California design and engineering firm serving homeowners, architects, contractors, and developers — from a single hillside residence to multi-state portfolios.
Engineering Solver was founded on a simple frustration: too many good projects were dying in plan-check. Owners were handed beautiful drawings that couldn't be permitted. Architects were juggling three separate consultants who each blamed the other. Contractors were finding conflicts on site that should have been solved on paper.
We started the firm to put every discipline a building actually needs — architectural, structural, civil, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing — inside one office, under one point of accountability. If something doesn't coordinate, it's our job to catch it, not yours.
What began as a small structural practice in Orange County grew as clients kept asking us to take on more of the work. Architectural design came first, then civil and site engineering, then a full in-house MEP team. Along the way we've delivered hundreds of projects: luxury custom homes in Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, and Rancho Palos Verdes; waterfront and mixed-use developments; seismic retrofits; solar installations; and institutional work including Cal State Fullerton.
Today our engineers hold licenses in 44 states, which means a client who builds in California and then builds in Texas, Florida, or New York keeps the same team, the same drawing standards, and the same phone number. We handle the code differences so our clients don't have to start over in every jurisdiction.
Engineering should make building easier, not more complicated. We write drawings a contractor can build from, we answer the phone during construction, and we treat a permit approval as the minimum bar rather than the finish line. Our clients come back — and they send their architects, their builders, and their neighbors.
